Program Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)

  • A “program” is defined as a certificate, major, or student service. An educational pathway, such as an ESL, English, or Math sequence, may also be considered a program that has identified learning outcomes.

  • SRJC offers approximately 170 certificates, 80 majors, and 18 Student Services. All must identify Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs).

  • In addition, each academic program must “map” course outcomes to program outcomes in order to assure that the program is achieving its broader purposes.

  • For assistance in identifying or assessing program outcomes, please contact Wanda Burzycki, SLO Coordinator , or one of the co-chairs of the pro-LEARN Committee
