Sonoma County Junior College District Regional Community Needs Assessment

The Community Needs Assessment was conducted to identify potential areas of credit enrollment growth for SRJC, including regions within and beyond Sonoma County.  The Community Needs Assessment Team conducted twelve focus groups, and approximately 75 “Key Informant” interviews.  In addition, to date we have received surveys from approximately 800 employers, employees, Latino service providers, and high school administrators/counselors.

Primary areas of inquiry focused on areas of identified potential growth for SRJC:  Latinos, senior citizens/retirees, and workforce training.  Other areas emerged during the study, and are noted in the study.
